Everything hosted is yours today; the one thing that waits is hosting. A Corresponding Member participates in the OIML’s work without a vote; on these services your personnel read what Member States read, verify what they verify, and ask the corpus what it asks. Running the platform software yourself is the one entitlement that ratification unlocks, and we say so plainly.

What you can do
Every act below was performed against the live services by the scripted capture apparatus before it was listed; each figure names its capture date and links the live surface. An act that cannot be performed does not list.
Verify any certificate, without an account. The verdict comes from the BIML-registered copy (B 18:2025 §14.8) with the live revocation and suspension status. What a Member State’s officer reads, you read.
Browse the register. The certificates the instance publishes, per scheme, with export and print. The register is a surface you consult, and it answers.
Read the Recommendations as models. The requirement classes, the test procedures, the report forms, each with clause-level provenance to the document you receive as a publication. Your draft comments can cite structure, not page numbers.
Ask the AI at the member tier. Questions about OIML publications answered with clause-level citations from the corpus; where the corpus has no answer, the service says so.
Request accounts for your personnel against the real directory. The identity service’s join flow knows the OIML member directory: your organization is there, and your own administrator approves the request.
Watch your Associate’s standing as a fact, not a file. If you have designated an Associate under the OIML-CS, its Declaration and its standing live in the participant registry, visible, instead of filed away. The demo’s Utilizer surface shows the shape your Associate works on, including the ANR declarations it can file for its market.
Read the whole corpus in the library. Recommendations, B 18, the procedural documents: the same library, the same content, as every member.
How it works
What this changes, and what it does not
Today you follow the OIML’s work at one remove: publications arrive as documents, comments travel by correspondence, and the certificate register is something you consult rather than something that answers you. On the services your participation gets an operational surface. What does not change: your voice. The platform never turns read access into a vote; the Convention governs participation, and the platform serves it.

Every hosted service is yours today, including the official OIML-CS SMART Platform; the hosted path never requires running anything yourself. The one entitlement that ratification unlocks is self-hosting the platform software, quoted below from the program’s single entitlement source, with the honest path upward.

Corresponding Member → Member State
Ratifying the OIML Convention unlocks the self-host entitlement (your own platform, your own data residency, the streaming update channel), the right to propose Issuing Authorities (a Corresponding Member designates Associates; a Member State proposes the bodies that issue), and voting participation. Membership is governed by the OIML Convention itself — the platform never sells what the Convention governs.

Is the hosted platform really full access for us?
Yes, per the program’s entitlement policy: Member States and Corresponding Members both use the official hosted platform, and the hosted path never requires the self-host entitlement. The matrix above is the single source; this page quotes it rather than paraphrasing it.
What exactly do we gain over the publications we already receive?
The same documents, plus their operational form: the Recommendation as a model you can navigate by clause, the register that answers lookups, verification you can perform during a committee meeting, and the AI service that cites the corpus. The publications remain; the surfaces join them.
Does using the hosted services commit us politically?
No. Using a hosted tool is not a treaty act. Your participation status is the Convention’s business; the program’s job is to make the information and the evidence equally available to you, which the entitlement row above states plainly.
When we ratify, what changes on the services?
Your category moves to Member State: the self-host entitlement unlocks (your own instance, your data residency, the streaming update channel), and your organization gains the right to propose Issuing Authorities.
