For Corresponding Members: the one-pager
Everything hosted is yours today; the one thing that waits is hosting. A Corresponding Member participates in the OIML’s work without a vote; on these services your personnel read what Member States read, verify what they verify, and ask the corpus what it asks. Running the platform software yourself is the one entitlement ratification unlocks, and we say so plainly.
What you do today
Your experts follow the work through documents and meetings; the evidence behind a certificate is a file you request, wait for, and read as a PDF; participation costs travel and patience, and nothing in your own systems can check what you are told.
What changes
- Verify any certificate, without an account: the verdict comes from the BIML-registered copy and the live revocation and suspension lists.
- Read the Recommendations as models, with clause-level provenance back to the adopted text your experts deliberate on.
- Every hosted service at the member tier: the registries, the library, the AI service answering the OIML corpus with citations, and nothing to install or run.
- The honest path upward: ratification unlocks the self-host entitlement; the matrix says exactly this, in the open.

Corresponding Member → Member State
Ratifying the OIML Convention unlocks the self-host entitlement (your own platform, your own data residency, the streaming update channel), the right to propose Issuing Authorities (a Corresponding Member designates Associates; a Member State proposes the bodies that issue), and voting participation. Membership is governed by the OIML Convention itself — the platform never sells what the Convention governs.
