The catalogue grows as OIML Technical Committees prioritize and resource new SMART modelling work. Priority is set by member-state demand and OIML-CS coverage.

How a SMART Recommendation is structured

Each modelled Recommendation is a Primmel package in the oimlsmart/primmel-packages repository, the single source of truth:

  • package.primmel, identity, editions, and the layer composition.
  • specification/, requirement classes with structured acceptance criteria, conformance tests, calculations, and tables.
  • model/, the instrument, its attributes, characteristics, and state model.
  • execution/forms/, the test report and evaluation report schemas with embedded calculations.
  • terminology.prl, the Recommendation’s terms with their clause provenance.

The build composes the packages, validates every cross-reference, and generates the modules the interactive application loads at runtime. Adding a new Recommendation is Primmel authoring, see the authoring corpus.
