The OIML SMART pilot programme is now live in development. This site is the working draft of the public-facing documentation, deployed for the internal use of the OIML SMART team and OIML Member State reviewers.
What’s in scope
Three OIML International Recommendations are being modelled in the pilot:
- R 60, Metrological regulation for load cells
- R 129, Dynamic measurement of road vehicle mass
- R 144, Diaphragm gas meters
For each, the pilot produces:
- Machine-readable requirements with structured acceptance criteria
- Conformance tests with explicit cross-references back to requirements
- Calculation-powered test report forms
- A domain ontology in OWL
- End-to-end certification workflow through OIML-CS
What this site is
This site is for the internal use of the OIML SMART team. It is part of the pilot programme and every page, document, and specification on it is a draft that may change without notice.
OIML Member States and Corresponding Members seeking engagement should contact OIML through official channels. This site is not approved for external distribution.
What’s next
Over the coming months the pilot will:
- Complete the modelled entities for R 60, R 129, R 144.
- Run internal conformance tests against representative data.
- Refine the OIML-CS workflow integration.
- Publish a public-facing summary at a future milestone.
