The classroom is the system itself. The simulator is a full-fidelity teaching instrument: a virtual load cell (and belt scale, and gas meter) with realistic, configurable physics, temperature cycles leave residuals, creep and hysteresis behave the way the Recommendation describes. Students run the actual certification workflow against it: apply, test, evaluate, issue, with the real app, the real verdict engine, the real certificate chain.

What you do today

Legal metrology is taught from documents and, at best, a borrowed instrument: students read the Recommendation as a PDF, never run its procedures, and meet the certification workflow for the first time on the job.

What changes

• The simulated instruments behave: realistic physics behind the governed twin interface, configurable failure modes, no hardware to buy or break.
• Students run the whole chain: the same application wizard, test workbench, evaluation, and certificate the production platform runs.
• Honesty is the lesson: when something is unprovable, the system says indeterminate, and the class learns why that is the foundation of metrological trust.
