1 General information about the taximeter

All properties of the taximeter, whether mentioned or not, shall not be in conflict with the legislation.

1.1 Essential parts

External battery manufacturer Streamax, type UPS (4.0).

EMI measures:

• metal housing;

• shielded cable between Computer box and Display unit;

• software filtering of distance input pulses.

1.2 Essential characteristics

Secured interfaces:

• RS232;

• USB;

• SD-Card;

2 Seals

To secure components that may not be dismantled or adjusted by the user, the taximeter is secured in a suitable manner on the locations indicated in the drawing:

Sealing and separate securing of parameters:

• General settings (including settings depending on national regulations) are protected by an identifier and an audit trail;

• The adjustment of the distance signal generator constant is protected by a mechanical seal and an audit trail;
