Clinical electrical thermometers for continuous measurement

This Recommendation specifies the metrological and technical requirements for clinical electrical thermometers for continuous measurement of human or animal body temperature. Such instruments are normally used to monitor the temperature at appropriate body sites of a patient undergoing certain surgical procedures or during intensive care.
